PROJECTS
I am so excited to give you some step-by-step
projects using different media.  I hope to send a
project a month.  Try the project with your friends,
family and students.  Enjoy!!!
In this project, I am using only set 115 and paint
and stamp pad ink on inexpensive glossy photo
paper.  I used Kirkland's photo paper from Costco.
It is my favorite.

Supplies:

Jacquard's Textiles
Jacquard's Neopaques
Jacquard's Lumiere
Jacquard's Sherrill's Sorbets
Clearsnap's Chalks
Clearsnap's Ancient Page
Lumiere applicator bottles with a number 7
applicator tip attached
Sponge cut into squares approximately 1" x 1".   (I
buy them in the paint, wallpaper, or tile
departments in home improvement stores.  The
sponge is yellow-orange in color and has rounded
edges).
Flat brush, approximately 1/2"
Water Container
Paper Towels
Plastic to cover your work surface
Apron to keep your clothing clean
This is rubber stamp set 115.  I have
many stamp sets that are similar.  This
set has only patterns making it easy to
combine shapes when using the stamp
sets.  Go to the rubber stamp catalog
page to see all of our rubber stamp sets.
PROJECT ONE:

STEP ONE:

Use Clearsnap chalk colors to
stamp patterns on the
background.  Pat the stamp pad
color onto the stamp.
PROJECT ONE:

STEPS TWO and THREE:

Add additional colors of
Clearsnap chalk onto the
background.
PROJECT ONE:

STEP FOUR:

Dip a sponge into the lid of Sherrill's
Blueberry Sorbet.  If you have Sherrill's
exciter pack, squeeze a small amount of paint
onto a sponge square.  Remove most of the
color onto a separate piece of photo paper
set to the side of your main design.  I call that
separate piece of paper a serendipity piece.
Lightly sponge the sorbet over some of the
chalks covering part of the design to create
layers of color.
PROJECT ONE:

FINAL STEP:

Sponge warm chalk colors and
additional Blueberry sorbet over the
design.  Add some light layers of Gold
Lumiere over selected areas.
PROJECT TWO:

STEP ONE:

Use Clearsnap Chalks to stamp
patterns on the background.
Apply the color by patting it onto
the rubber stamps.  The images
are excellent on photo paper.
PROJECT TWO:

STEP TWO:

Add additional colors to the
background using additional
chalk colors.
PROJECT TWO:
FINAL STEP:

Dip a sponge into the lid of a jar of Mint
Sorbet and remove most of the color onto
the separate piece of photo paper that
you used for the first project.  Lightly
sponge the Mint Sorbet over the design.
